This year, we want to analyse the challenges of current agriculture politics and get to know more sustainable alternatives.
We will ask ourselves what long term impacts conventional agriculture will have on our Earth, and what different alternatives exist. We will put a special focus on practices like hydroponics, vertical agriculture and permaculture and try to explore whether these could replace conventional agriculture on a large scale. Can food security be guaranteed in this way?
We will also try to understand how we as consumers can contribute to open up the way to a more sustainable food production. Is there anything we can do, for example getting active in our garden or balcony ourselves? Can we learn to distinguish the “good” from the “bad” labels on the market today?
In order to find answers to this questions together, we prepared an interactive program of conferences in German and French, workshops, films and much more.
